About the team

President and Co-Founder

Jen Baker

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Jen Baker began her career in the Navy, serving as both a pilot and an engineer. Since the Navy, she has had experiences as an entrepreneur, in a Fortune 100 company, and in collegiate athletics. While completing her graduate work at Cornell University, she was a Roy H. Park Leadership Fellow.

Through these diverse experiences, Jen saw how developing leaders helped to ensure organizational success. She considers the athletics setting ideal for implementing a more focused leader development paradigm. She has designed several student-athlete leader development programs on multiple campuses, and consulted with many others on the topic both inside and outside of athletics.

Jen currently serves as the Associate Vice Provost for Student Affairs and Director of Athletics & Recreation at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She also is a Certified Measurement Specialist through the Doerr Institute for New Leaders (Rice University).
